The power of persuasion

You may have heard of my first legal client, a trial lawyer named Mark Lanier. He asked me to teach him what I know. The result?

Look up the case below on Courtroom View Network and watch for yourself how he used persuasive PowerPoint in trial to win a $4.7 billion verdict.

I have helped hundreds of other lawyers create persuasive PowerPoint for their cases, like Andrew Pickett from Florida. Andrew used his persuasive PowerPoint in a mediation, and told me that after he won a favorable settlement, the defense attorney walked up to him and said,

"Andrew, your opening presentation was the best I've ever seen in my career. I think your PowerPoint added $250,000 in value to the case."

Imagine the results you might get if you have a persuasive PowerPoint for your next case.

Picture this...

In 6 weeks, you open your laptop and you see a single PowerPoint file on your desktop named Opening Statement.

You double click it, and it opens up to a set of slides.  They are crisp, clear, and concise, anddare you say it frighteningly powerful.

You feel proud of the work you did to distill your complicated case into a simple storyline any juror could easily get, and care about.

You are excited to test it so you can fine-tune your arguments. You are eager to show some of this to adjustors, so you can scare the heck out of them. And you are convinced that when you stand to deliver this to a jury, you can get them to yes.

A fleeting thought crosses your mind that the judge might unexpectedly say PowerPoint is not allowed at opening. You smile, because you are at peace, like a Jedi master.

As you built this powerful secret weapon, you came to realize the real weapon is not the slidesit's your inner confidence and creativity that will propel you boldly through trial, no matter what happens.

You close your laptop and head out to spend time with your family and friends to celebrate.  You are now prepared to face anything, in the battle ahead.

This is the first time I have offered access to my brain in this way

When I made my first PowerPoint back in business school, I didn't know what I was doing, so I did what everyone else did. I opened up a PowerPoint template, wrote some headings, typed a bunch of bullet points and added a few graphics.

I'm embarrassed to show you the actual slides, but here they are:

I didn't know it at the time, but I had created the first type of PowerPointthe painful kind. I'm sure my audience was as bored seeing it as I was delivering it.

After business school, I couldn't find a job that matched what I wanted so I took temp jobs that had me taking painful PowerPoint and adding graphics to the bullet point slides to "jazz them up."  We just made the surface look better, but the same content was beneath the surface. I had made the second type of PowerPoint—the pretty kind.

I finally landed a job in a tech startup in San Francisco, and volunteered to turn a text-heavy business pitch into a compelling visual story.  The PowerPoint succeeded in landing a big meeting with the decision-makers.  And I discovered the third type of PowerPoint—the persuasive kind.

I had no clients buying my approach, so I wrote a few free articles to share my insights, and soon my first client called me: the largest company in the world hired me to help their board of directors create persuasive PowerPoint.

Microsoft heard about what I was doing, and invited me to write a book about my new approach. Mark Lanier bought my book and he invited me to help him create his famous opening statement that Fortune magazine called "frighteningly powerful," launching my career as a trial consultant.

What I've learned over the past 18 years of working on hundreds of cases is that anyone can transform PowerPoint into a powerful tool for communication. If you know how to use it persuasively.

For the first time, I'm ready to share what I know, to help you avoid the mistakes I see lawyers make, and to show you how to use PowerPoint to get adjustors and jurors to yes.

If you asked me to build a persuasive PowerPoint for you, I would charge you $50,000

I am the world's leading expert in persuading jurors with PowerPoint, and I have 18 years experience doing this, with an impressive list of clients and results.

If more powerful persuasion can persuade an adjuster or jury to turn up the dial of a verdict by 6 or 7+ figures, $50,000 is a small investment to make.

So why would I offer to train you to do what I dofor only $10,000?

Some of my clients have told me that if I train other people to do what I do, I'll put myself out of business. I look at it differently—the power of what I teach is too valuable and impactful to apply to only a few dozen cases per year, many of which settle before they even go to trial.

I've been planning this course for years, and you'll be the first to join me on the adventure of creating your first persuasive PowerPoint. You get the value of a $50,000 PowerPoint, and I'll get the value of your participation in the process. After we succeed together, I'll take your feedback and consider how I can scale up this training and help the bigger community of trial lawyers who are making the world a better place.

You'll save $50,000, gain the value of greater persuasiveness, and learn powerful skills to last a lifetime for only

 $50,000 $10,000
